PROSODY PRACTICE FOR BEGINNERS
Set -2
Scan the following verse and mention the prosodic name, if any.

Question -1
Alone, alone, all, all alone,
Alone on a wide wide sea!
And never a saint took pity on
My soul in agony.

Question -2
A Speck, a mist, a shape, I wist !
And sti’ll it near‘d and near’d :
As if it dodged a water sprite,
It plunged and tacked and veer'd.

Question - 3
Day after day, day after day,
We stuck nor breathe nor motion;
As idle as a painted Ship
Upon a painted ocean.

Question -4
Water water every where
And all the boards did shrink
Water water everywhere
Nor any drop to drink.

Verse and Scansion
Only reapers reaping early
 In among the bearded barley,
Hear a song that echoes cheerly,
From the river winding clearly,
 Down to towered Camelot.
